Judge Finds 'Wal-Mart' No Bar to Class Treatment in FDNY Case

In a discrimination case against the New York City Fire Department, a federal judge on Friday denied the city’s motion to retroactively decertify a liability-phase class in light of the the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Wal-Mart Stores Inc. v. Dukes.
