Verizon Contract's Class Arbitration Waiver Held Legal

Affirming dismissal of a putative class action by cell phone customers, the 3rd Circuit has found that a clause in Verizon service contracts that makes arbitration of disputes mandatory but prohibits arbitration as a class is enforceable under federal law.
