Judges Rally in New York City to Facilitate First Gay Unions

Dozens of judges in New York City have volunteered to work on a Sunday to handle an expected flood of requests to waive a state-required 24-hour waiting period once gay and lesbian couples are able to obtain marriage licenses as of July 24.
