Investors win again at the high court — but don't call it a trend

The Supreme Court ruled Monday that investors need not prove at the class certification stage that a company’s deceptive conduct caused their economic losses. The ruling was the fourth win for investors in securities cases in the last two terms, but that was not enough for commentators to proclaim a pro-plaintiff trend.
