CoScentix has issued a recall on DD Tin Candles, sold exclusively at Hobby Lobby stores, because the candle’s flame can catch the surface of the wax and tin container on fire. The recall includes approximately 126,000 4-ounce candles in a metal tin with a matching metal lid. The candles were sold in 35 different fragrances and colors.
The recalled items were sold nationwide at Hobby Lobby stores from June 2014 through July 2014. The recalled candles can be identified by the SKU and batch number located on the underside of the tin:
Consumers in possession of the recalled DD Tin Candles should stop using them immediately and return them to Hobby Lobby stores for a full refund or store credit. If the candles were purchased online, consumers can contact CoScentrix atwww.coscentrix.com for return information.
