Drop in Securities Class Actions Due to Fewer Credit-Related Suits, Report Says

Fewer federal securities class actions were filed in the first half of 2011 than in the prior six months, largely due to a decline in suits related to the credit crisis, according to a new report. At the same time, the report noted an uptick in "non-traditional" securities suits.
