Brown Signs Message to Jurors: Stop Tweeting!

California’s governor has signed legislation that requires courts to warn jurors not to share case details or research case information via texts, blogs, Internet postings or networking sites. The law also clarifies that judges can hold in contempt jurors who don’t heed that admonition.
