Richard "Chip" Lutton, widely credited with helping build Apple’s patent portfolio, has confirmed reports that he’s leaving at the end of the year. B.J. Watrous, a former deputy GC at Hewlett-Packard, is now listed as Apple’s chief IP counsel on Watrous’ LinkedIn profile.
