11th Circuit judge: 'Great Writ is dead'

An 11th Circuit decision on sentencing has prompted a dissenting judge
to pronounce dead the writ of habeas corpus, while the judge writing for
the 8-3 majority said the dissenters were simply "[p]umping all the
pedals on the prose organ."
